Accuplacer Support

The Accuplacer is a Thompson Rivers University requirement for final admittance into a trades program that helps ensure you have the academic skills necessary for success in your chosen trade. It must be written and passed before your program starts.

To prepare for the Accuplacer, it is highly recommended you write the Practice Accuplacer. It is an online practice that replicates the actual test. Upon completing the practice test, you will be given a breakdown of your results that will inform you of which areas you need to focus on. Contact your school TnT coordinator to connect to further help and support with the Accuplacer.

Writing the Accuplacer

To write the Accuplacer, contact the Thompson Rivers University Assessment Centre and click on the Accuplacer tab, or call 250-828-5470. When you schedule your Accuplacer, please ensure you identify yourself as a Youth Train in Trades student to ensure your scores are connected to your program. If you need assistance with this process, contact your school TnT coordinator.
