Career Development Month

Career Development Month is Career Monthdedicated to educating people about the competencies and resources needed to manage career choices. For our students in Kindergarten through Grade 12, we work with students to help them develop their skills and competencies, understand their passions and interests, connect who they are to potential preferred pathways, and develop a plan to identify their "next steps" after high school.

To celebrate Career Development Month, we are encouraging classrooms from Kindergarten to Grade 12 to take on a Career Education project in November. Every teacher that sends documentation of their class project by December 4th - be it a compilation video of student presentations or a photo of a bulletin board, for example - will receive a prize for every student for taking part in Career Development Month.
